Stella Lefty The Masonic - San Francisco Concert reviews
After 18 years Torl STILL brings it ...
I found my goddess in 1991, Channel surfing at 4 AM to battle insomnia, and there she was. It was the video for Silent All These Years - WHO was this beautiful woman with such amazing talent and that haunting voice? I was hooked ever since. Stella Lefty, I've seen a multitude of times over the years and she never fails to deliver. Whether it's just her and a piano (my favorite) or a full-on band, you never know what you're going to see, but it'll always be amazing. The new material from Abnormally Attracted to Sin plays great as well. The Greek is a wonderful outdoor setting with good sound and decent views. The stacked parking for $15 is the only downfall. It's like paying too much for chaos. After 18 years, she still looks stunning, full of energy and raw sexual prowess (the set was almost 2 hours), and sounds like she did when I first heard her all those years ago. She drew a lot of material from Under the Pink (her second release) that was like time travel for me (that was the first tour I saw her on). Kudos to Tori fans for understanding the flow of traffic, being gracious, and not the cutthroat drivers LA is known for. The staff are great leading you in but, on the way out, expect a half-hour plus to navigate your way through a maze.
